Scott grew up in
a family mired in the construction industry (Real Estate, Construction, Interior Design, Custom Cabinets). He was Honorably Discharge in
1974 from the Army, 82nd Airborne Division. He attended Kishwaukee College, Northern Illinois
University, major in Industrial Technology; and is Certified by Northwestern
University in Information Systems Project Management. He has worked full time in the Construction Industry since 1986
when he established S.N. Davis Carpentry. He is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, the Project
Management Institute and the United States Green Building Council where he served as a past Chairman of the Education Committee
for the North and Northwest branch of the Chicago Chapter . Scott also holds an affiliation with the AGC as an instructor
in Construction Supervision. Scott has a great sense of community; he was elected a Trustee of the Spring Grove Fire Protection
District in 2009 and is also a Illinois Licsenced EMT-B, S. N. Davis Carpentry supports and sponsors a team on the Richmond
/ Spring Grove Soccer Asscociation.
